Teaching philosphy

Whether a singer's goals are to be more comfortable singing at a karaoke night or to create their own music, lessons offer multiple avenues for success such as:

  • The promotion of healthy singing based on the vocal principles of body alignment, respiration, phonation, resonation, and articulation.

  • Opportunities to practice vocal technique and expression in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Improvement of overall musicianship including phrasing, dynamics, intonation, rhythm, sight-reading, etc.

Lessons each week will include warmups, performance techniques, and pieces of music to develop the singer. We can improve expression and confidence with an open setting to find your own unique voice.
